"Sometimes I think all we have in common anymore is that goddamn fish!"
On day number 1, Sam won me a carnival goldfish, the kind they hand you over to you in a plastic baggie filled with water. You have to take them home quick, or else they die, before they even know anything other than that bag. The fish had way surpassed its average life expectancy, now 601 days old, much like me and Sam had.
